Frequently asked questions
Each campsite has a very large enclosed space, for comfort using the facilities we recommend up to 30 people camping. However, each Gold and Silver site can easily accommodate up to 60 people camping, with our Bronze site Alders limited to 20 people camping.
Arrival is from 2:00pm.
Departure is by 12:00pm, except on Sundays during Surrey school term time, when departure is by 4:00pm.
Early arrival and late departure is possible if it does not affect other bookings.
Each additional hour is charged at the standard hourly rate for the campsite you are on.
Each campsite is provided with an altar fire to prevent scorching of the grass. This is a large metal frame onto which a piece of corrugated metal can be placed. Fires are lit on top of the corrugated sheet, this can be an open campfire or bricks and grills can be used to create barbeque racks or pot stands.
There is enough dry wood onsite to be foraged and used for fires. Your group will need to collect this from the wooded areas.
Each site will be provided with a small amount of toilet roll. It is recommended you bring additional supplies, please ensure it is a very thin (usually cheap) brand. Thick quilted toilet roll will block our septic tanks.
Each toilet has a serviced sanitary bin.
